"Natural horsemanship" is a combination of an oxymoron and clever branding. I think a lot of it can be laid at the feet of Parelli, who had a lot of influence for a while on horse training market. A lot of NH trainers don't get much beyond colt breaking and ground work which is certainly true of PP.
