28 Dec 2018 Offshore drilling contractor Transocean Ltd. has landed a contract with Chevron worth $830 million, the company announced Friday. Transocean has unmatched capacity and capability in all manner of floaters: ultra-deepwater, harsh-environment, deepwater, and midwater. We are constantly high-grading our fleet to ensure that our rigs are equipped to handle even the most challenging projects. Transocean's fleet includes three midwater semi-submersible floaters for customers looking to drill in shallower depths.
